What’s in the name

Fin City Brewing Company has recently released a beer named “Slow Tide,” which has been inspired by the iconic author, Ernest Hemingway. The name of the beer reflects those moments when the tide is slack (Not going in or out)  and fishermen have time to relax and enjoy their surroundings with a cold brew. This beer is perfect for those who enjoy a light and refreshing drink that can be sipped on a hot day, while taking in the sights and sounds of the sea.

The character on the can is Maryland’s version of  Hemingway if he were a Chesapeake Bay fisherman. Hemingway was known for his love of fishing and his love of the sea, and this beer is a tribute to that passion. The image on the can is a nod to Hemingway’s love of fishing and the sea, and it captures the essence of what it means to be a fisherman.

The Slow Tide beer is a perfect combination of malt and hops, which provide a unique and delicious flavor profile. It has a light and refreshing taste that is perfect for any occasion, whether you’re relaxing on the dock or hanging out with friends. The beer has a crisp and clean taste, making it an easy drink to enjoy on a hot day. The balance of the beer’s malt and hops is what makes it a Hemingway-inspired drink. Just like Hemingway’s writing, the Slow Tide beer is all about balance and harmony.
